Stalls

This year, subject to Council approval, we may have stalls outside in the surrounding grounds which we hope will help to give the Pottery Fair more exposure and bring more shoppers.  Outdoor stall area will be 3m square and indoor stalls will be the customary 2.6 sq metres. All stall spaces take at least two regular size tables.

Cost

Indoor stall price to $300 per stall.

Outdoor stalls price $120 per day or $200 for both days.  Outdoor stallholders will need bring there own gazibo, tables and pack down their stall on Saturday afternoon and set up again on Sunday morning before 9.30am. As we do not have overnight security outside.

The fees will cover everything including publicity and a Happy Hour with bubbles (or whatever) and nibbles for stallholders after we close at 4pm on Saturday.

Advertising

A flyer will be produced as well as other publicity and we will send a digital copy you can use on your own social media outlets with the next update before the end of February. There will also be printed copies for distribution. Please submit best quality photos of your work to be used in advertising.

Applications must be submitted in full by EOB on  15 November 2026

Successful applicants will be notified by 10 December 2026

Successful applicants must pay stall fees and confirm by 29 January 2027

Stall delivery and set up can be done from 8am Saturday. Indoor stalls can be left overnight Saturday. Outdoor stalls will need to be packed down on Saturday afternoon and re-established on Sunday morning before the Fair opens at 9.30am.  There is parking at the back of the building for bump in and bump out.  Once stalls are set up, stall holders are asked to move their vehicles from the car park and park in the street.

Stallholders:

o   will be responsible for setting up and manning their stalls for the duration of the Fair and collecting money for their own sales.

o   outdoor stall holders need to bring their own tables and marquee.

o   indoor stall holders will be allocated one (1) table each if needed.

-        Stall spaces

o   indoor stalls will be 2.6m square.

o   outdoor stall spaces will be 3m square.

o   will be allocated by the organising committee.

Plants and any other merchandise (candles etc) may only be sold in pots made by the stallholder.

Pots and other products offered should be of top quality - no seconds or bargain boxes. 

Insurance

It is important that prior to 29 January 2027 you send us a copy of your Public Liability Insurance Certificate of Currency to cover your risk. A stall holder’s personal public liability risk is not covered by the Council’s public liability or our insurance as organisers and, of course, for any product liability related to your own products. Please ensure that your public liability covers all of your products.
